"Il Ghilardino" is located in the Valle del Metauro, in the northern Marche, near the sea, the hills and mountains of the Apennines. It therefore enjoys a vast pool of tourist users.

The Marche region is located in central Italy, along the Adriatic ridge and is characterized by its striking scenic beauty dotted with green valleys and hills. The Apennine mountains (with heights varying from 1,000 to 2,400 meters) and the sea complete its landscape variety, so much so that the Marche has been defined as "Italy in a region".

From a landscape point of view the region is very similar to the more famous Tuscany but more wild and less well known by tourists. For over a decade the Marche region has been the Italian region where life expectancy is the highest in Italy and Europe. Climate, food, nature, sea, quiet pace of life are certainly the ingredients that have made it possible to reach this important goal.
